Capacity-building is the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, techniques, and resources that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt and thrive in a fast-changing world. An essential ingredient in capacity-building is a transformation that is generated and sustained over time from within; transformation of this kind goes beyond performing tasks to changing mindsets and attitudes.
The term capacity building has been used in varying contexts, expressing different meanings and explanations. It was considered that the term correlates closely with HR development, which is, enhancing employers’ knowledge and training. The field was relatively narrow, which concentrates on the development of staff through formal education and trained workers to fill the gap the qualified personnel in industrial operations. However, the past few years have transformed this old concept into a broader global perspective. It focuses on employer's development, covering institutional as well as specific initiatives of the country.
Capacity building is one of the major initiatives of the EAR, which we perform through various sessions, training programs, and understanding of the growing and dynamic business challenges of our employers’ members.
Our mission keeps us at the vanguard of administrating and facilitating academic and professional opportunities for the industry and business community; opportunities that make their insertion into a globalized world easier in such a way that will place them in a continuous process of professional evolution, generating new skills and capabilities within a holistic, practical, and appropriate context. Our experience is based on the quality of the programs we organize on various issues of importance year-round.
With a comprehensive portfolio of activities, working side-by-side with top business executives and business community leaders, the participants in the Capacity Building and Training Development Program will develop a new and rejuvenated spirit of interdependence through a broad array of experiences that enable them to pursue a practical learning experience and professional development.
The vision of our training programs embraces a multidimensional approach to sustainable business and socio-economic development. In our training programs, applicants will undergo several seminars, workshops, roundtables, and specialized activities.
